Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS)

The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) is a healthcare subsidy program in Singapore. It is designed to provide financial assistance for lower- to middle-income Singaporeans to help them access affordable healthcare services at participating clinics and healthcare institutions.

Under the CHAS scheme, eligible Singaporeans can receive subsidies for outpatient medical treatments, as well as for certain chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.

CHAS subsidies are tiered into different levels, namely CHAS Green, CHAS Blue, and CHAS Orange, with varying subsidy amounts depending on income level and household size. Pioneer Generation (PG) and Merdeka Generation (MG) cardholders will also receive subsidies under CHAS.
